The Mifflinburg Christkindl Market, founded in 1989, is the oldest authentic outdoor German Christmas market in the United States. Christkindl Market of Mifflinburg, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit corporation and its Board of Directors receives no pay, has no employees, and relies solely on volunteers and

donations. This holiday tradition is able to continue each year thanks to the generosity of businesses, individuals, and organizations in Mifflinburg and the surrounding area that provide monetary, material, and manpower support. The Market attracts national and international visitors and is a premier Christmas attraction for Pennsylvania. Profits made from this event are channeled into the community.
